The heartbeat

So, we heard the heartbeat today! It was a quick little "whup-whup-whup" sound, with in a background of Jen's heartbeat like slow waves, "whooosh-whooosh-whooosh." We will get an ultrasound around 18 weeks, barely a month and a half away. That would put it around my birthday. Seeing my child for the first time...quite a birthday present. :)
